About Me
Jacob Caine is a senior real estate and public policy leader, currently serving as President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and President of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. He has held chief executive roles across the sector, including as Interim CEO of the REIV and CEO of Ray White CRE.
Jacob is a frequent media commentator, speaker and advocate on housing policy, rental reform, energy efficiency and the future of the built environment. He has represented the Australian real estate sector at national and international forums, including COP29 & 30, the United Nations Global Forum on Buildings in Paris and the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
He holds an MBA from Monash University, a Master’s in International Relations from Harvard University, and is completing a PhD at the Australian National University’s National Security College.
A former professional opera singer, Jacob brings discipline, communication and public presence to his leadership.
